RESEARCHER – ARCHITECT – FOUNDER
From particle physics to artificial intelligence. From patents to museum collections. Fifteen years of building systems that think — now redesigning how capital evaluates technology.
My career began in computational physics and academic research, between the INFN and the CNR, where the discipline of measurement and reproducibility shaped everything that followed. Rigor is not a style, but a method for separating the signal from the narrative.
Over fifteen years, I have moved from research to industry, designing artificial intelligence architectures and telecommunications services on a national scale. This work has resulted in patents and several national and international publications.
At the same time, I have translated complex computational systems into corporate governance processes, training over 1,000 managers and senior engineers on the intelligent use of artificial intelligence.
I have treated the algorithm as a means of expression. Tech-art is not a secondary interest, but the second part of the same reasoning: data has a form, and form conveys a meaning that a technical data sheet cannot express. Part of this work is now preserved at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View.
Today, these three lines converge at Pholià, where I am redesigning the way venture capital evaluates, incubates, and develops technology assets, using the same vetting standards I learned in the lab.
Associated Researcher, INFN (Chimera Project). Architected real-time data acquisition and high-throughput computational frameworks for nuclear and particle physics research.
Pioneer in CTI platform and Project Manager, Omnitel Italia. Directed early voice recognition systems in technical partnership with international research laboratories (Philips Speech Processing).
Founder & Architect. Designed and patented one of the world’s first symbolic AI virtual assistants. Over the years, the platform managed over 40 million users. The first version was formally inducted into the collection of the Computer History Museum (CHM), Mountain View, CA.
Vice President, ICE Commission at ASAM (Università Cattolica). Directed academic and industrial research programs on advanced human-machine interfaces and gamification as a performance driver.
Co-Founder, Forever Identity & Aggregate Researcher. Authored studies and patents for digital preservation; contributed to technical research for the International Space Medicine Consortium (ISMC) and NASA-NSpires.
Designed algorithms and solutions (some national award winners) for psycholinguistic analysis, talent discovery, wine and food pairing algorithms, and educational tutors.
Creator of a methodology for the recovery of decommissioned deep-tech assets, leading to the creation of Pholià and its agentic valuation engine.
The work of art as a form of technological experimentation. The work poses a simple question: what does a model look like when it ceases to be a tool and becomes a document of its era? Below are the main international installations and algorithmic artifacts:
Presented at the 2010 Turin International Book Fair. Using AI to translate Dante’s verses into meaningful elements within multidimensional ontological structures to explore real-time imaginary dialogues between the public and the ‘Sommo Poeta’.
YouTubeCommissioned and included in the official selection of artists for FutuRoma (Rome), alongside Brian Eno and Carla Fracci. Interactive robotic sculpture emulating Filippo Tommaso Marinetti’s thought through deterministic semantic graphs.
Press KitPresented at the Italian Pavilion at Expo Astana (Kazakhstan) 2017. Transformative performance turning audience-generated kinetic data streams into dynamic visual spaces.
VideoFirst prize from the Lombardy Region in 2010 for the Ticino Park. A cosmogony of characters managed individually by an intelligent supervisor agent based on profiles and use cases.
GalleryLeading Pholià’s strategic vision to transform technological innovation into liquid, high-performance business value through a proprietary AI-based decision-making engine and a decentralized network of value creators.
Formulating board-level governance through the ‘Technology-Inspired Strategy’ paradigm, delivering high-density programs to over 1,000+ executives and engineers navigating deep-tech transformation.
